Pennsylvania Convention Center car service guide

Entrances, approach routes, PHL transfers and hourly service for a convention day at 1101 Arch Street.

Updated October 2, 2026

The venue at a glance

The Pennsylvania Convention Center sits at 1101 Arch Street in Center City, directly above SEPTA's Jefferson Station. Its directions page puts the entrances at the northeast and northwest corners of 12th and Arch Streets. The center's own transit page describes access by car, train, regional rail at Jefferson Station and bus, and also lists PATCO, NJ Transit and Amtrak among the ways to reach the city.

For a chauffeured arrival, the useful facts are the address, the two entrance corners and the fact that you will be dropped in a dense downtown block. The center's directions page does not name a drop-off or loading spot for cars, so we do not invent one. Tell us which entrance your badge pickup or session is near, and we confirm the approach with you before the day.

Getting there by car

The center's sample directions use Vine Street as the main landmark and finish with a turn onto 12th Street, with the entrances two blocks ahead. For travelers coming from I-95 North it suggests taking I-676, exiting at Broad Street and continuing to 15th Street, then Vine Street and 12th Street. Your chauffeur plans the actual approach for the day.

Traffic around a convention can change the plan. We recommend asking for pickup times that leave room before a keynote or a first session rather than a tight arrival.

From PHL to the Convention Center

A reserved car meets you in the PHL zone for limousine and van services, Zone 6, per the airport's ground transportation page. From there the ride goes into Center City. Direct transfers are quoted for the exact route and date; sedan floors start at $130 and SUV floors at $160. For the full airport picture, see our PHL rates and pickup guide.

Send the flight number so dispatch can follow the arrival, and give the hotel or the entrance you want. Travel time varies by traffic, weather and the hour, so we do not promise a fixed duration.

Hotel to venue, and a day of stops

Conference days often mean breakfast meetings, sessions at the center, client dinners and an evening return. Hourly service keeps one car and chauffeur on your itinerary for the day. Hourly service has a three-hour minimum.

VehicleHourly3-hour minimum
Business Sedan$120$360
First Class SUV$150$450
Mercedes S-Classfrom $230from $690
Sprinter Vanfrom $240from $720

Direct point-to-point transfers start from $130 sedan and $160 SUV. S-Class and Sprinter figures are starting rates; the written quote confirms the final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.

Groups and delegations

A Sprinter suits a team or delegation that wants to arrive together. Confirm passenger and luggage counts together when you request the quote so the assigned vehicle fits. If several people are arriving on different flights, send each flight number and we can plan separate pickups.

How to request a quote

Send the event date, pickup and destination, the entrance or hotel you want, passenger and luggage counts, vehicle preference, and any return or waiting needs. We reply with a written quote before anything is booked. For event dates this fall, see our Q4 2026 events and rates guide.
