What a PHL transfer costs
Airport transfers from Philadelphia International are priced by route, date and vehicle rather than by a posted tariff. This site does not publish a flat fare for each destination, because the quote depends on the exact pickup, drop-off address, stops and timing. What we can state is the floor: direct sedan transfers start at $130 and SUV transfers at $160.
The table below shows the common destinations from PHL with those floors. Treat each number as the lowest figure a quote can start from, not as a fixed fare.
| From PHL to | Typical stops | Sedan | SUV |
|---|---|---|---|
| Center City | Hotels, offices and residences in the downtown core | from $130 | from $160 |
| University City | Campuses, hospitals and 30th Street Station area | from $130 | from $160 |
| Main Line | Suburbs and corporate offices west of the city | from $130 | from $160 |
| King of Prussia | Corporate campuses, hotels and shopping | from $130 | from $160 |
| Conshohocken | Office parks along the Schuylkill | from $130 | from $160 |
| Wilmington, DE | Delaware business and residential addresses | from $130 | from $160 |
Floors for direct point-to-point transfers. The written quote confirms the final price for your date, address and vehicle.
When hourly service makes more sense
If your airport pickup is part of a longer day, such as a meeting loop through Center City and University City, hourly service keeps one car and one chauffeur on your itinerary. Hourly service has a three-hour minimum.
| Vehicle | Hourly | 3-hour minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Business Sedan | $120 | $360 |
| First Class SUV | $150 | $450 |
| Mercedes S-Class | from $230 | from $690 |
| Sprinter Van | from $240 | from $720 |
S-Class and Sprinter figures are starting rates; the written quote confirms the final price, which can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.
Where pickup happens at PHL
PHL divides curbside ground transportation into numbered zones. On its taxis and limousines page the airport lists Zone 4 for hotel courtesy shuttles, Zone 5 for taxicabs, Zone 6 for limousines and van services, Zone 7 for ride-share app services and Zone 8 for charter buses and couriers. Reserved sedan, limousine and van service is the Zone 6 group, on the Commercial Transportation Roadway.
For international arrivals at Terminal A-West, the airport tells taxi passengers to take the elevators to the Ground Floor before heading to the zone. Ask us how that walk works for your arrival rather than assuming it, and send your airline and flight number so dispatch can plan the meeting point around the terminal you land at.
We do not publish a terminal-by-terminal walking guide, because PHL's own pages do not give one and pickup procedures can change. Your chauffeur confirms the meeting arrangement with you before you land.
Construction and terminal work
PHL describes a large Transform PHL program, listing 100+ projects in progress and about $2 billion in improvements across PHL and PNE, with landside projects as one category. The airport's ground transportation pages and its published landside project list do not describe any change to the pickup zones at the time of writing, so we are not telling you that a zone has moved. If the airport posts a change, it will appear on phl.org, and we confirm the current arrangement with each client before a pickup.
How to request a PHL quote
Send the date, flight number, terminal if you know it, drop-off address, passenger and luggage counts, and the vehicle you want. Mention stops or a return trip up front. We reply with a written quote before anything is booked.
Sedans suit one to three travelers; SUVs suit families and heavier luggage; a Sprinter suits a group that wants to arrive together. Confirm passengers and bags together so the assigned vehicle fits.
