Before you travel
Separate station, office and riverfront stops
A Wilmington destination should identify whether the trip ends at an office, hotel, station or another property. Amtrak's official Wilmington station page provides station information, baggage services and accessibility details. If the car connects with a train, include the train number and the station arrival deadline as part of the itinerary, rather than treating the station name as a flexible destination.
For office visits, ask the host for its visitor entrance and any building access steps. Meeting check-in and passenger drop-off can involve different instructions. For a hotel or riverfront visit, identify the exact property and agree on the return meeting point. Travelers coming from PHL should include the flight date and bags, even if the request is principally described as a Delaware transfer.
If Wilmington is one stop in a longer Philadelphia-area day, list the entire sequence before requesting pricing. A direct PHL transfer, a retained car for meetings and a return to Philadelphia are different service arrangements. Include stops for additional passengers and any hard finish needed for a flight or train. Review the PHL–Wilmington route and city-to-city service to prepare a complete request.
Check the confirmed arrangement
For the quote, include the date, pickup time, all addresses, passengers and bags in one request. Identify any fixed arrival deadline and whether the car waits between stops. Confirm the vehicle, reserved period, waiting terms and cancellation policy before travel. We arrange and manage the ride according to the confirmed itinerary. If the property changes an entrance or a meeting moves, send the update to coordination rather than assuming the original pickup still works. A clear traveler contact keeps the final handoff straightforward.
